As the "Eco" part of the name suggests, this ink is environmentally safe. It doesn't contain harmful ingredients like cyclohexanone. This means that this type of ink is biodegradable, and it can easily be broken down in the human body without any harm. Eco-solvent ink dries fast and offers a wide range of colours. Ideal for posters and other forms of signage, it is durable and is capable of adhering to coated or uncoated surfaces.
Ideal for personalised signage or banner printing and is easy to operate. The built-in heaters and external fans cure the ink almost instantly. Material that can be printed is Wallpaper, Canvas, Vinyl, PVC vinyl, Contravision, Poster Paper, and more.
Eco-solvent printing does require more heat in order to dry, and this can affect the type of material you can print on. What's more, the ink is not as durable as solvent inks. While it's adequate for outdoor printing work, it's best to only use it for applications that need to last a year or two. Eco-solvent inks have their colours suspended in a mild biodegradable solvent, which means that the ink has virtually no odour as they don't contain as many volatile organic compounds.
